Really quiet, and relaxed stay in the middle of the Welsh countryside, really close to snowdon and surrounded by great walks The owner and staff are extremely friendly, on our first day he greeted us at the door, gave us a tour of the hotel and our room, and some information about the hotel and the local villages history. The owner cooks all the food as well and is a talented chef, the breakfast and dinner were amazing considering it’s just a small hotel, but dinner was not served every night so make sure you have reservations in advance as restaurants in Bedgellert book up really quickly. The stay was great and the staff made sure to keep in touch during our stay and showed a real interest in what we got up to. We really felt as though we were guests in their home rather than customers. The hotel has an honesty bar which is a really nice touch and you can grab drinks and snacks throughout the day We will definitely be coming back at some point soon.

We stayed at this idyllic mountain hideaway for 2 nights. I wished we could’ve stayed longer. The 18th century building was maintained very nicely, the hosts and staff were amazing and the breakfast superb. You must give this magical place a try.
